Maynard James Keenan and Tool will headline the Monster Mash Music Festival in Tempe, Arizona on October 31st.

Primus and Coheed and Cambria will join Tool for Monster Mash's Halloween lineup. The three-day festival, held October 30-November 1, will also feature Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, Deftones and Halestorm, as well as classic rockers Santana and John Fogerty. Only single-day tickets will be sold, with tickets for the Tool day going on sale June 26 at MonsterMashAZ.com. The other two days are on sale now.

This is the first and only known show for Tool in 2015, so far. It could also be the debut of new Tool music. The band is currently working on a new project, the follow up to 2006's  10,000 Days.

There's no word on when the album will be released, but on Sunday morning, Tool posted a news item on their website simply reading "Wait for it." If you've been holding out for a new Tool album for the last nine years, "waiting" is probably something you're already pretty good at.
