The New England Metal & Hardcore Festival celebrates its 15 year of anniversary with a massive lineup for the 2013 installment, including headliners Anthrax, Opeth and Hatebreed.

Hatebreed's new album, 'The Divinity of Purpose,' will be released Jan. 25 in Europe and Jan. 29 in the United States, and now the band has announced a headlining U.S. tour kicking off in late January.

Connecticut hardcore act Hatebreed have finally revealed the juicy details about their upcoming sixth studio album, which is titled 'The Divinity of Purpose.' Along with U.S. and European release dates, Hatebreed have also unveiled the cover art for the highly anticipated record.

Dan Patrick – metal head? It appears to be true as the former ESPN anchor and current radio sports talk and NBC football host recently showed his metal tendencies by coming out of a commercial break with Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta‘s voice blaring to all his listeners.

It’s a busy time in Hatebreed‘s world. The band just finished the tracking process on their forthcoming full-length, which is the proper follow up to 2009′s self-titled effort, and will proceed with mixing. Hatebreed produced the platter, with assists from Josh Wilbur, who lists bands like Lamb of God and Avenged Sevenfold on his resume, and Zeuss, who has worked with everyone from All That Remain

Hatebreed are expressing their outrage via Twitter after a CNN opinion piece written by Lonnie Nasatir included them in a list of white power bands. Following an outpouring of protests from the band and their fans, Hatebreed’s name has since been removed from the article.

Hatebreed have unveiled dates for a lengthy tour in celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the band’s debut album ‘Perseverance.’ Supporting acts on the trek include Whitechapel, All Shall Perish and Australian metalers Deez Nuts.

Good news for mosh-happy metal and hardcore fans. Hatebreed are headed to the studio next week to begin tracking their seventh album (sixth if you don’t count the ‘For the Lions’ covers disc as an actual album) and the follow up to 2009′s self-titled effort.

On Wednesday (April 4) the Sonic Metal Fest went down in Santiago, Chile and during Hatebreed’s set a very special guest joined them on stage. Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe performed ‘Doomsayer’ with Hatebreed and it was all caught on film thanks to a fan, check out the video below.

Connecticut metallers Hatebreed have started pre-production on their next studio album, and band members promise it’s going to entail lots of speed and force and little for the faint of heart.
