Ten Ton Hammer, the cover band that looks and sounds exactly like Machine Head (because it is Machine Head), played a ‘secret’ show in London at King’s College last night (June 6). Among the songs covered by Ten Ton Hammer were System of a Down‘s ‘Sad Statue’ and the Foo Fighters song ‘Everlong.’

I'm not a fan of Pop.  It's like an annoying Jingle that you can't stop singing.  You hate it, but your mind just can't fight it.  Then again, after a couple six packs, yours truly will forget about her bubble complex and sing hand and hand with a lighter proudly lit up top, singing horrible Pop at the top of my lungs...

Deftones are releasing a new covers album, to celebrate Record Store Day on April 16. The album is simply titled Covers, and will be limited to 5,000 copies, according to antiquiet.com. Covers will only be available in independent music stores.
