The Big Four’s slate of 2011 shows is expanding. The thrash giants appear to have more shows planned this year, in addition to the three they’ve already set.

(gibson) Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich said that the idea behind the recently announced Big 4 Festival came from a Rage Against the Machine reunion concert he saw a couple years ago at Coachella (the same California site of the metal legends’ April 23 event).
