2012 Revolver Golden Gods

Last night’s Revolver Golden Gods Awards provided metal fans with some serious thrills, as their favorite artists winning awards, presenting and collaborating for once-in-a-lifetime performances — most notably with Johnny Depp playing guitar with Marilyn Manson at the show’s closing.

Before Marilyn Manson‘s performance, Golden Gods host Chris Jericho introduced Damien Echols, who was recently released from prison after 18 years. Echols is one of the West Memphis Three, a trio of young men who were convicted of murder without solid evidence to back it up.
