Update: Apparently Ozzy Osbourne Did Not Buy a New $10 Million Home
Update: Ozzy Osbourne has tweeted about the story going around about him purchasing a new Beverly Hills home, denying that he and Sharon purchased the estate. His tweet, and the original story, can be viewed below:
Ozzy Osbourne and his family now have a permanent place to call home in the Los Angeles area after paying $10 million for a new house. The Osbournes sold their previous estate to Jessica Simpson in 2013 and while they had other residences in the area, according to TMZ this marks their return to setting up roots in Beverly Hills.
The new estate is 5,680 square feet with five bedrooms, five and a half baths, a two story guest house with its own garage and other amenities like a private veranda, a grand staircase, up and downstairs fireplaces, a chef's kitchen, a grotto-like pool and spa and wild rose and English ivy covered grounds.
The home's description classifies it as "an exquisite English country estate," which should put Ozzy Osbourne and his family right at home. The description on the real estate site reads as follows:
Only once or twice a decade does a home become available on ... one of the most prestigious and coveted streets in Beverly Hills. Behind the gates of this exquisite English country estate is luxury living at its finest: large formal living room and dining room, 5 spacious bedrooms including a dramatic master with private veranda, grand staircase, fireplaces both upstairs and down, chef's kitchen, and romantic grounds bursting with wild roses and English ivy surrounding a secluded, grotto-like pool and spa. There is also a stunning two-story guest house that boasts vaulted ceilings and its own separate parking garage. A haven of warmth and elegance, this extraordinary residence is perfect for entertaining and wonderfully private, yet close to all the world-class shopping and dining that Beverly Hills has to offer.
The Osbournes have owned several other estates and rented others in the Los Angeles area. Earlier this spring, the Osbournes put two houses they owned in the Hollywood Hills area up for sale at $1.99 million each.
Osbourne has a little bit of time to enjoy the new digs before returning to the road. The musician is expected to resume work with Black Sabbath for their farewell run in 2016.
