Once again, we look at some of your starting A'Salt Creek Roller Girls, who take on the High City Derby Divas this Saturday at the fairgrounds industrial building. Minista of da Fist

Height: 5'2"
Date Joined: November 4, 2009
Position: Jammer, Blocker, Pivot

Favoite Target Zone: Shoulder

Likes: Love competing in anything.  Frogs are the absolute "best" and green is my my favorite color.  Skating is fantastic!

Dislikes: Brussel sprouts, lima beans, and mean people

Injuries: Sprained my ankle and a shoulder injury that is still healing.  And my pride when we lose.

Why Roller Derby? An up and coming sport, on roller skates and a bunch of bad ass women competing?  Who could say no?  It is a very empowering sport, helps self esteem, over all heath and is just plain fun!

Words of Wisdom: Never say never, no matter what, always give it a try or two.

Pretty Perilous #23

Favorite Target Zone: Shoulders and hips, whatever puts 'em down!

Likes: Going fast, having fun, and my kids.  Competing and ROLLER DERBY!

Dislikes: Stupid people, black licorice and condescending people.

Injuries: My knees a few years ago, and my pride when we lose.

Why Roller Derby? Love the outfits! Great for your health and self confidence. Super empowerment!

Words of Wisdom: Stay low, stay wide or you're on the ground!  Never hold a gudge for things that happen during practice and always, always, have fun!

Height: 5’6”

Position: Jammer, Blocker

Favorite Target Zone: Hard hit, total knockout

Likes: Dragons, Snowboarding, Roller Skating, Motorcycles, Playing Pool and Darts, the colors blue and green,

and frolicking in the park with fairies.

Dislikes: Mean people, the color red, farts, asparagus and Brussels sprouts

Injuries: I don’t have any injuries…I am made of metal.

Why Roller Derby? I guess it was what I was made to do.  I have skated my whole life.  I LOVE it!
