Casper's own undefeated A'Salt Creek Roller Girls host their toughest competition of the season this Saturday when they take on the Cheyenne Capidolls.This intra-state rivalry will give the Derby Divas a true test of their skills as they bout a team they have yet to beat...Cheyenne is currently 2-0 in the series. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door, and are available at the WAC east side, Sonic Rainbow, Kim's Closet east side location, Nate's Flowers, and at our studios, 150 N. Nichols.

Origin of your Derby name It took me awhile to pick my name. I finally decided on Miss Meladjusted because I have to take on a whole different persona on the track. One that is complete opposite of who I am during the day.

How Long Have you Been Skating? I skated on weekends when I was little, but regularly I have been skating for about 2 ½ years.

Why Derby? When I was first approached I didn’t even hesitate. I didn’t know what it was at first, but soon afterwards I fell in love with it. It is so much more than a game played on Saturday nights. It shows off your talents and it constantly pushing you to achieve in so many aspects of your life.  I can’t imagine my life without derby.

What positive aspect has derby brought to your life? It has brought so many wonderful people into my life as well as my families’ lives. I have made the best friends anyone could ask for. I have met some wonderful people who are always putting others before themselves.  I am able to give back to my community and help others on a daily basis.  Derby is such an empowering sport. It shows everyone that anything is possible.  It helps me stay in shape while constantly challenging myself to improve.

What are your non-derby hobbies/activities/hidden talents? scrap-booking, children’s crafts and reading children’s books out loud. I can keep children entertained for hours.
