14th Annual Hunter Lewis Fittje Memorial Fishing Derby – July 19th, 2014

The 14th Annual Hunter Lewis Fittje Memorial Fishing Derby will be held on July 19th, 2014. The Fittje family continues this event to share their son Hunter's love of fishing and to promote a fun family activity in Hunter's memory.

Kids can bring your own fishing gear, bait, a lawn chair and sunscreen if you have them. There will be some fishing gear available to borrow for use during the derby if needed.

Everyone fishing is encouraged to participate in catching and releasing fish caught during the contests.

Each registered participant will receive a fishing derby t-shirt, fishing derby license and goody bag. There will be lots of great door prizes being awarded throughout the derby.

Raffle tickets will be sold until 11:10 am and the winning tickets will be drawn after the contest awards have been presented. The contest and prizes are for children ages 0 - 9. The fishing derby will start at 9:00 am and continue until 11:00 am.
