Beer drinkers, prepare to be outraged. According to a new study, Wyoming is the 9th most expensive state in America to buy beer.

And we're not talk about fancy microbrews and craft beers, either. The study compared the average price for a 24-pack of Bud Light and Miller Lite at both urban and rural outlets across the country.

Here in Wyoming, the average price for a 24-pack of domestic beer is $20.46. Across the border in Nebraska, that same 24-pack is nearly $4 cheaper.

Nebraska ranked 10th among the cheapest states for beer drinkers in the study, with an average price of $16.62.

Michigan boasts the lowest beer prices in the country, averaging $14.62 for a domestic 24-pack. Pennsylvania has the most expensive beer in America, with an average price of $21.98 per case.
