If a new ranking is to be believed, our Wyoming roads are gonna be busier than ever this summer as we've just been declared as one of the best summer road trip destinations.

This is an interesting new take from WalletHub. They factored in a bunch of stuff to decide which states were the best summer places. Wyoming comes in at #2 overall.

If you check out the reason why Wyoming ranks so high, you'll notice that we're #1 for affordable camping. Can't argue with that.

The metrics that perplexed me were the ones where Wyoming comes in at #19 and #20 for safety and activities. You would think that we'd be ranked way higher for outdoor activities. Yellowstone and Grand Tetons anyone? Hello?

The only state that ranks higher in the WalletHub survey is North Carolina which is also a mystery. What crazy person wants to go to North Carolina? No one unless your last name is Earnhardt.

Overall, I suppose we'll take this is good news although it doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know.
