Wyoming Millennials Earn More Than Other Regional States
There's good news and bad news for Wyoming's millennial workforce.
The good: They, on average, earn more than any state in our region (includes Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho, South Dakota, and Nebraska.)
The bad: They still only average $24,400 per year.
Data from Business Insider tells us this is the average medium income for persons aged 18-34. Wyoming narrowly beat Colorado's medium income of $24,000 even.
Montana ranks as the worst state in the country for millennial income, averaging $18,000 per year. Meanwhile, Washington DC is making millennials happy with their $43,000 medium incomes.
According to Business Insider, the medium income for all Wyoming employees is $37,000.
