One of the things that we love about Wyoming is how separate it is from anywhere else. Our wide open plains and rugged mountains tend to leave us feeling protected from what happens in other parts of the world.

But, with the prevalence of Social Media, it's almost impossible to stay disconnected from the pain and suffering that occurs in other places.

And, in today's world, it's easy to feel helpless.

From a pandemic that blindsided us almost 2 years ago, to the more recent events across the ocean in Eastern Europe and Asia it's possible that you may be feeling like there is nothing we can do to make things better.

First, of all, I want to encourage you to remember that no act of good is ever wasted.

Secondly, I came across 4 very real, and relatively easy ways that we can help those struggling in the Ukraine.

For those of you that may be unaaware of the current situation in the Ukraine, this article about a Wyoming couple forced to flee the Ukraine with their two recently adopted children will show you the tragedy of what's happening.

NOTE: The two charities that are listed are vetted and a safe place to donate your money.

Here Are 4 Ways Wyomingites Can Help Those Struggling In The Ukraine

Host Orphans Worldwide is an organization that is particularly close to our hearts here in Wyoming.

We've seen firsthand how they've created families through adoption from the Ukraine, and it was our honor to host them at a recent Thankful Thursday event.

If you know of any other ways that Wyomingites can help those in the Ukraine, please let us know through the My Country 95.5 App.
