Look, I'm not officially authorized to do this, but I'm going to try anyway.  If you don't love this great state of ours . . . then you gotta go.  I'm sure all your dreams will come true in Kansas or Canada or wherever.

A new Gallup poll asked people if their state is the BEST place to live in the U.S. . . . and it showed that there are a lot of us in states which are killing it in terms of state pride.

You might be able to guess this - Texas had the most state pride.  68% of people in Texas say it's the best state to live in.

But you might not guess that, Wyoming as a whole has more state pride than Texas and we rank above them at #4 on the list overall with 69% of our residents believing that we are living in the best state in the country.

The top 10 states in which to live according to their residents are:  Alaska, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, Hawaii, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Colorado with Vermont and Oregon tied at #10.

On the other end of the scale, the state where the most people say they have the WORST possible place to live is - Illinois.  One out of every four people in Illinois said it was the worst state to live in.

The 10 states with the least pride are Rhode Island, Illinois, Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, New Jersey, Michigan, Maryland, Missouri and Connecticut.
