Snow, wind, and cold temperatures are on the way. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for many areas of the state including Natrona County, from 6:00 Wednesday evening through 8:00 Thursday morning.

Temperatures will start to fall during the day Wednesday, with snow starting late afternoon or evening and continuing into Thursday morning. Wind chill factors on Thursday are forecast for around zero degrees.

NWS Meteorologists say we can expect snow and blowing snow, slippery road
conditions and areas of poor visibility with total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.
