Casper is expected to see a few inches of snow over the weekend as a slow-moving weather system moves through the area.

According to the National Weather Service, one to three inches of snow could fall in Casper, with four to six inches possible in northeastern Natrona County.

A winter storm watch was issued Thursday afternoon. It will be in effect from Friday evening through Sunday morning.

Mostly light snowfall is expected, with occasional periods of heavy snow showers. Midwest and 20 Mile Hill are expected to be impacted as well.

That means slippery road conditions and poor visibility along Interstate 25 and Highway 20-26. Evening and morning commutes could be impacted.
