When Starting a Band Goes Wrong
If you start a band, you may end up being good, but you’ll probably end up like one of these ill-fated groups.
Are you big Rockin’ Al fans? Of course not, but you’ll surely enjoy a fight between middle-aged bandmates mid-performance. One of the smaller members of the band decided to flip off the drummer, who happened to be a literal giant. With one push, the Doc Brown looking musician flew backwards, but got up and tried to test the drummer yet again. It did not go well.
Ever jam with someone who tries to play far beyond their capabilities? One worship act, who actually sounded pretty decent, got their spotlight ruined by an overzealous drummer and his ridiculous fills. The slow-paced come-to-Jesus song should’ve stayed that way, but this drummer decided to go tech death on their asses, blasting through fills like Ringo Starr on horse tranquilizers.
One actual band in this video compilation is the Ataris, who experienced a falling-out with their drummer onstage. Frontman Kris Roe became fed up with the drummer’s playing, throwing his guitar into the dude’s kit and disassembling his drums while throwing a tantrum. After Roe apologized to the crowd, he played a stripped-down set and chalked it all up to rock ’n’ roll.
