People collect the strangest stuff. I, too, am affected by this malady...but it's not my fault! Over our lives, random people will give us something odd, with the disclaimer "I seen this, and I thought of you!" Gee, thanks. Glad I'm the weirdest person you know.

We also have a tendency to make a random purchase, whether it be impulsive or planned out, that we later regret. Things like a stuffed peacock, or dancing Elvis phone, or fill-in-the-blank. We all do it. Sometimes, the weird item reflects our mood at the time. Or a phase of our life that we would like to forget. There's a reason most garage sales feature things that should have no right existing...
