Approximately eighteen months ago, a big time Christmas themed commercial project for Wells Fargo took over downtown Casper. For two days, downtown was closed off from 5pm to 5am for shooting the mammoth production.

Although the shoot took place in the summer, there were artificial snow machines and artificial lighting so bright, it was actually stationed a good two blocks from the actual set. In addition to the stagecoach crew and about ten actors that were brought in, there were also a good fifty to sixty locals that were hired as "extras".

With one holiday season already come and gone (and another already beginning) since the original filming, many are still left wondering: what is the status of the commercial and when, if ever, will it make it out of limbo?
