As a radio DJ, I've heard more songs than most. B-sides, random covers, bands who will never see the light of day...and that's on a daily basis. Some of the best songs ever made haven't been heard by the masses, and some of the top selling radio songs should never have been recorded (I'm talking to you, Spice Girls).

I've also had a chance to witness first hand - multiple times - how hard it is to judge a book by it's cover. See that big dude covered in tattoos and piercings? Odds are, Cyndi Lauper is somewhere on his iPod. That petite girl wearing pink boots? Loves GWAR. I, myself, have some eclectic tastes. Prince can do no wrong, in my book...

Looking at the answers below, there are deffinitely some songs that take me down memory lane. There are also some tunes that make me think "Oh, YOU'RE the person that bought that album..."
