What I Want To See at the Super Garage Sale

The Super Garage Sale is coming up Saturday, October 13th. As much as I love rummaging through other people's crap, this is one of the annual events I look forward to every year. I found this old "laptop" at a thrift store the other day which I would LOVE to bring to Starbucks sometime, it made me think about all the cool things I hope to find a the Super Garage Sale.

Classic Video Games

Of course! Like 'Hollywood Collector' and other collection based shows, I collect classic video games. If I can find someone with a box of Super Nintendo games for a great price, let me know! I'll probably be first to pick it up.

Classic Advertising Signs/Items

I love those old Coca-cola signs, Mr. Peanut figures and stuff like that. I'll keep my eyes open for those, too.

80s Toys

Now that I'm in my mid-30s, I'm slowing buying back my youth. Now just toys for me like He-Man and Transformers, but my wife collects 80s toys from her youth, too. Rainbow Brite, Care Bears and others I'm ashamed to admit I know the names of.

Movie Props

I don't collect movie props, but I think they're neat. Here's a piece of something in an actually move that millions of people have seen and here is an item from that movie. I think it'd be pretty cool to see something like this at the Super Garage Sale

That Was Once Considered 'Trendy'

And I don't mean old, worn-out clothing or that your grandpa wore. I want to see some MC Hammer pants, Member's Only jackets and whatever else. I need me a spiffy Halloween costume.

So, yeah, that's about it. I still want to see what you have so I'll be looking out for your table at the Super Garage Sale at the Fairgrounds industrial building on October 13th.
