Two People Burned in Flash Fire in Converse County
Two employees of an unidentified company were injured in a flash fire at a gas compression station in northern Converse County last week, according to a news release from the Converse County Sheriff's Office on Monday.
The office received a report of the fire about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The people were taken to the Memorial Hospital of Converse County and then flown to the burn center at the Northern Colorado Medical Center. They are in stable condition, according to the news release.
The press release did not identify the employees, the company, the location of the compressor, or other details of the fire.
The incident is still under investigation by the sheriff's office, the Wyoming State Fire Marshal's Office, the Office of Safety and Health Administration, and the company.
