Last week during a live newscast on KBOI-TV in Boise, Idaho a producer's microphone was on and he didn't know it. If he did know, I'm sure he would not have dropped the F Bomb live on the air. Oh yeah, NOT once, but TWICE!
However, it was an accident and they do happen. Actually, when I first started in broadcasting, I made a rule: When you walk into the studio, you must act as though everything you say is heard live on the air.
This rule has served me well, however the older I get in this industry, the more comfortable I become. After watching this video, I believe I need to reaffirm that rule. :-)
