Trent Reznor has officially squashed rumors that he'll appear in the movie Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter as the vampire who kills Lincoln's mother.  Reznor posted in the Nine Inch Nails forum that he "won't be working on (acting or scoring) ALVH after all."  He added, "There's no juicy story here, it's just that when the news mysteriously leaked out about my involvement I hadn't made up my mind completely, because various aspects of the project were changing."  Even though Reznor won't be involved with the film, he wishes the cast and crew the best of luck.

On a different topic, it's confirmed that Reznor is currently scoring the upcoming U.S. remake of the film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, to be directed by The Social Network's David Fincher.  Reznor also plans to focus soon on new NIN music, and will release a new How To Destroy Angels album this fall.(via ABC News Radio)
