Tornado Relief Effort At Mountain View Regional Hospital
It was over a week ago, and the clean up efforts continue in the devastated community of Joplin, Missouri. The tornado which was packing winds of more than 200 mph, is now considered to hold the record for the highest death toll in U.S. history.
Joplin is in shambles and relief efforts to help bring supplies to the region are desperately needed.

There are many horror stories still coming out of the Joplin area in regards to what the community has been experiencing since the massive tornado.
Hearing just a few of the stories coming from fellow healthcare workers in Joplin, the managers and employees at Mountain View all felt very strongly and decided to take action to lend a helping hand to our neighbors in need.
In conjunction with their 3rd year anniversary, the employees at Mountain View Regional Hospital would like to forgo any celebration and instead use their time and money to help the victims in Joplin, Missouri.
On Thursday June 2nd, the Mountain View family would like to ask the people of Casper and surrounding communities to assist them by bringing and donating items to help the families in Joplin recover from this community wide tragedy.
Rock 96.7 and our sister stations will be broadcasting live from the Mountain View Regional Hospital parking lot this Thursday, from 10am-3pm. We will be collecting donations in the front of the hospital and hope you will stop by and help with any items or means that you can.
