Tickets for Kinser Jazz Festival Headliners Still Available

Tickets are still available for both the instrumental and vocal headline concerts featured as part of the 47th Annual Casper College Kinser Jazz Festival.  The MK Groove Orchestra, a New York-based big band that fuses jazz, rock and funk; will perform on Monday, February 3rd at 7 pm.  Tickets are $10 per person

Grammy Award winning artist Luciana Souza will perform with her group on Tuesday, February 4th at 7 pm.  The Luciana Souza Quartet features Grammy Award winner Luciana Souza. A singer and songwriter, Souza’s two latest albums were both up for Grammys in 2013: “The Book of Chet” for Best Jazz Vocal Album, and “Duos III” for Best Latin Jazz Album.  Tickets for this show are $18 per person.

Both concerts will take place in the John F. Welsh Auditorium in Natrona County High School.

Support for the MK Groove Orchestra is provided by the Natrona County School District while support for the Luciana Souza Quartet is provided by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.
