
Thompson & Cavaliers Agree on new Five Year Deal
The new NBA season is just over a week away.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have locked up a key member of their squad. Reports are Tristan Thompson has signed a new deal that is fully guaranteed.
ESPN reports that the deal is worth $82 million and is fully guaranteed. Thompson had been a restricted free agent this past offseason, but had held out of team activities because he and the Cavaliers could not reach a contract agreement.
The Cavaliers open their season on Oct. 27 against the Chicago Bulls.
