These Swirling Clouds Tried to Suck Colorado into the Sky

It's been a somewhat stormy week over our neighbors in northern Colorado. Part of that included this mesmerizing cloud that looked like it as trying to suck Colorado into the sky.

As 9News reported, there were many funnel clouds over Denver suburbs and northern Colorado on Monday of this week. According to the video description, this funnel cloud appeared over Littleton.

The CBS TV station in Denver said that this storm ended up dumping 1 inch hail over much of the area. This is not weather that makes car paint happy.

No, this cloud was not really trying to suck Colorado into the sky, but it did kinda look that way until the hail began.
