
The Truth Behind The ‘Fake-Snow’ Phenomenon Explained
Last week, I jumped on the bandwagon and posted a video of a Casper man who was attempting to melt snow, but instead of water, produced a black coating and rancid odor (see the video here).
Of course, for posting this video, I was blasted by everybody who saw it...as you can see below.
While there were many who stated that they feel this 100% fake, there were a few people who understood that there's a process called "sublimation". Basically, the snow skips the water part, and turns directly from a solid into a gas. The blackness on the snow comes from the butane in the lighter. It also needs to be a perfect mixture if temperature and humidity. Science!
