Usually, when a national website publishes a "Best of Every State" list, Wyoming gets the shaft. It was nice to see the guys at the Dork Side of the Force gave the Cowboy State the respect it deserves. They published a story Matching 50 Star Wars characters with each of the 50 states. For the first time in a long time, Wyoming didn't get matched with some obscure character that no one has ever heard of. No, we get arguably one of the coolest, bad-ass guys in the series, Han Solo.

The author of the story, Kara Hedash, was quick to connect Solo's cowboy attitude with the state. He never backs down from a fight, and despite his rough exterior persona, he is extremely loyal to his friends. If you were in a battle with the Empire, you would definitely want Solo on your side. Yeah, that sounds like Wyoming for sure.

The Dork Side didn't even make the connections between Harrison Ford and Wyoming. We know that Mr. Ford owns property near Jackson Hole. Also that he has even been part of rescue missions with Wyoming Search and Rescue as a pilot. In 2001, he helped find a boy missing in Yellowstone National Park. The 13-year-old was lost hiking for nearly 18 hours, and it was the helicopter Ford was piloting that found the missing boy.

Heck, Ford is just a bad-ass off-screen as he is on-screen.
