A 46-year-old Denver, Colorado man is facing five to 40 years in federal prison after being found guilty of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl in Wyoming.
The case started on Dec. 3 when a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper attempted to pull over a pickup speeding southbound on Interstate 25 in Laramie County.
In August, Joshua Crook took his ex-girlfriend in her car, fired shots out the window at her current boyfriend who was following in a pickup, and led police on a high-speed chase through central Casper.
