Van Halen fans may or may not get a new album in 2012, but one thing’s for sure: the band will return to the road for the first time in four years.
Rammstein played one of their only U.S. shows in a decade at Madison Square Garden in December 2010, a spectacle that sold out in a mere 30 minutes, given the fact that it was the first time the fire-breathing Germans stepped foot on American soil in a long, long time.
We’re still a long ways away from a full-scale Guns N’ Roses reunion, since Slash would still rather stomp on the olive branch than hand it to frontman Axl Rose, but some factions of the Guns camp are making nice. Slipknot fans received a bit of good news over the summer when percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan announced that the band was planning an American tour for 2012.
Now, Crahan says Slipknot is in the planning stages for the follow-up to 2008′s ‘All Hope Is Gone’ album, although it might be awhile before anyone gets to hear it.
