In this second half of our talk with the Used singer, McCracken talks about his continual lyrical theme of 'time,' the difference between recording vocals for the band's debut and the band's upcoming 'Imaginary Enemy' album, his favorite philosophers + much more.

Taking Back Sunday and The Used will team up for what promises to be a hard-rocking tour this spring. The two bands both have new albums en route and this will be the first major North American run for each supporting their upcoming releases.

The Used have completed their sixth studio album and will release 'Imaginary Enemy' on April 1. The disc follows on the heels of their Top 10  2012 disc 'Vulnerable.'

Since the release of the Used‘s first single ‘I Come Alive’ from the band’s fifth full-length album, ‘Vulnerable,’ fans have been champing at the bit for an accompanying music video. Three months later, we finally have a new video from the Used.

The Used have dropped their fifth studio album ‘Vulnerable’ today and the band have also announced dates for a headlining tour with support from Dead Sara and Stars In Stereo.

Parting ways with a major record label can devastate or invigorate a band. For the Used, it seems to be the latter. Singer Bert McCracken says his Utah-bred group will release its near-finished fifth studio album, ‘Vulnerable,’ in early 2012 on its own Dental Records.
