Did you miss Antemasque — the new band of Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala of At the Drive-In and the Mars Volta — when they toured over the summer?
The newest band to spring forth from the everlasting well of At the Drive-In, Antemasque, has been releasing a song here and there throughout the past few months.
The Mars Volta disbanded last year, and as was recently revealed, vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala, guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and onetime drummer Dave Elitch formed the new band Antemasque, with some help from Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea. They have announced their self-titled debut album will be unleashed July 15.
Killer Be Killed, a group consisting of Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato, Sepultura / Soulfly legend Max Cavalera, Mastodon frontman Troy Sanders and former Mars Volta drummer David Elitch, has finally revealed the track listing, cover art and release date of the band's debut album. The self-titled disc is scheduled to hit shelves on May 13 via Nuclear Blast Records.
