Suicide Silence

Suicide Silence publicly announced they would carry on as a band nearly a year after vocalist Mitch Lucker lost his life after a motorcycle crash. Recruiting All Shall Perish vocalist Eddie Hermida as the group's new frontman, the band is currently writing their fourth studio album, and guitarist Chris Garza recently spoke about the decision to carry on.

Suicide Silence have just released a 30-minute documentary on the life of late vocalist Mitch Lucker. Posted on Christmas Day, the short film shines a light on one of deathcore's most beloved vocalists, featuring early footage of the musician along with interviews with his bandmates and family.

It has been just over a year since a Halloween night motorcycle accident took the life of Suicide Silence vocalist Mitch Lucker. On Dec. 21, 2012, a concert was held to honor Lucker's memory and to raise money for his daughter's future education. That show, which featured a number of prominent guest vocalists, will be released Feb. 18, 2014 (watch the trailer above).
