Significant Weather Advisory for east central Fremont...northwestern Natrona...south central Washakie and southeastern Hot Springs counties until 430 pm...

Through 7 pm...scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move north across central Wyoming.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Half inch hail...locally heavy rainfall...occasional cloud to ground lightning and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

The main threat other than the wind will be brief heavy rain...small hail and frequent lightning.

Isolated areas could see up to 2 inches of rain.

More rain in the county, and the ground is already soaked.

All this accompanied by colder temperatures, could last until Wednesday morning.

We may get rain mixed with snow later this afternoon.

Other than today though, it will be a pretty mild week.

There's not a whole lot to do during a rain delay at a baseball game, or any sporting event for that matter. You can walk around the concourse, trying to resist the urge to spend $48 on a hot dog and a beer. Perhaps buy a souvenir or two. Or, you could do what this guy did at Wrigley Field during a rain delay last weekend at a Chicago Cubs game. He went for a swim!

Heavy rains and scarring from recent wildfires sent walls of water crashing down mountainsides early Thursday in Colorado, cutting off mountain towns, forcing the University of Colorado to cancel classes. At least three people are reported dead.
