On Tuesday, an enraged mother in Providence, Rhode Island attacked a news crew when they showed up to interview her about the shooting of her daughter at a graduation party. As a result, she was charged with two counts of felony assault. So much for breaking the cycle of violence.

One Today Show reporter in Australia had a real Ron Burgundy moment. It seems Roz Kelly will also read anything that's on the teleprompter. Fortunately, her co-anchor Karl Stefanovic didn't put an F-bomb in there like Veronica Corningstone, but he did get her to imply that she enjoys the "cookies" in Amsterdam.

A.J. Clemente's first day at his new job couldn't have gone any worse. The new weekend news anchor for KFYR, the NBC affiliate in Bismarck, North Dakota, managed to kick off his on-air career with a live mic gaffe consisting of two of the seven dirty words which George Carlin famously explained you can never say on television.

We would feel bad for Ryan Lochte, except, you know, he won all those Olympic medals. These news anchors are so astounded by his amazing stupidity while promoting his E! reality show that as soon as the interview is over, they began laughing uncontrollably...

Yep, this happened. During what we can only assume was a mesmerizing episode of the 'Steve Wilkos Show,' an Emergency Alert System interrupted a Montana television station with a message claiming that "the bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and attacking the living." Meaning? Yes, a zombie attack was underway.

Let's face it -- as much as we identify with celebrities, we don't really know them. That's why public meltdowns, where they show their peevish, arrogant and sometimes crazy sides, are so darned fascinating. When this happens, our perception of celebs can change forever. Think about it -- will you ever be able to watch 'Braveheart' again without recalling Mel Gibson's racist rants? We think not. R

This woman seems normal enough.  A local news reporter is interviewing her about an apparent accident of some sort.  The woman, out of the blue, gives a little more information than is necessary for this report.

Cindy Michaels and Tony Consiglio anchored the evening news together for WVII in Bangor, Maine. On Tuesday, they resigned their positions together right before signing off for the final time.
