Not many local rappers can mix country music into their lyrics or instrumentals. Doc Suess has manged to do both and add a legend to his.

Late last October, Casper born and raised Hip-Hop artist, Doc Suess, blessed the Cowboy State with a new song that samples the late great country music legend, Chris LeDoux. Now comes the visuals that were shot entirely in Wyoming.

Casper firefighter and country music crooner Patrick W Stafford has been blessing our ears with awesome music for a little bit more than year now.

This is just another example of how much musical talent we have in the Oil City.

Over the years, I’ve found that Casper has a pretty active music scene. Each week, I try to catch at least one show in town, whether it be a private party, at a bar…or at a coffee house. This Friday, “One Child Left Behind” will be performing at the Melrose Coffee house.
