The leaves are changing colors, the air is crisp, and the weather is perfect.

Residents can find their extra leaf collection day on the city’s website or by calling (307) 235-8246.

The city will offer extra collection days either on the first and third or second and fourth trash days of the month.

When grass breaks down, it creates nitrogen. That feeds algae, which can harm local aquatic life like fish and ducks.

Fact: no kid likes doing chores around the house.

Autumn.  The time of year when the trees go into hibernation and shamelessly shed their leaves for you to spend your time cleaning up.  It's not all bad though.  A lot of fun can be had with the deposits of foliage covering your yard.
