Josh Hicks appeared in Natrona County Circuit Court where a judge set his bond at $500,000 cash-only.

Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies assisted with the investigation.

The abduction was reported to police at 10:52 a.m.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a medium build and brown hair. He was wearing a black hat, shirt and pants.

On Dec. 19, Martin appealed the sentence to the Wyoming Supreme Court.

Her remains were found near Etna on May 18, and have since been positively identified, the attorney's office said.

Both victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Former Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper Franklin Ryle intended to kill a driver and stage an accident that would either injure him or kill Ryle’s wife.

Martin kidnapped the victim on March 20 after breaking into her home.

In August 2016, Chavis entered a government office and allegedly took a 51-year-old man hostage with a box-cutter.

Contreras remained in custody at the time of Friday's arraignment hearing.
