The smell of smoke wafted through the air late Friday night, as multiple agencies responded to reports of a structure fire in the 1200 block of South Forest Drive.

It was a blistering cold night in Casper on Thursday. But the cold and the wind did not stop a group of Wyoming Patriot Guard Riders and American Legion Riders from gathering to witness Lance Corporal Jerrod L. Warden come home.

Police say there is no threat to the public in connection with the incident.

The lockouts lasted roughly 10 minutes.

Ladd declined to release further information regarding the incident due to the ongoing investigation.

According to a Casper Police Department press release, sports equipment and electronics were stolen from several sheds at the school.

The Wyoming Special Olympics summer games will be held at the University of Wyoming in Laramie from May 9 through 11.

They're creating care packages to send to Wyoming troops overseas, and inviting the community to help.

Midwest High School and Roosevelt High School saw the largest declines from the previous year.

There will be no transportation to or from Midwest.
