Horror Movies

It's interesting to think that movies have been a part of culture since the late 1800's and horror movies have been there from the start.

What do you do when your child starts speaking in tongues and projectile vomiting? Send them to daycare, of course!

For whatever reasons, the Disney movie "Frozen" is still extremely popular, and some just can't seem to let it go.

Basically once Labor Day has passed, we spend our time gearing up for Halloween, which means apple cider, carving pumpkins, and loads and loads of terrible scary movies. The only problem is that there are bad scary movies and then there are *bad* scary movies, and the only way to tell the difference between the two usually involves sacrificing 40 minutes or so of your life.

There's nothing better than a bad horror flick.  That's the great thing about horror, the movie could be absolutely terrible but you always find an excuse to keep watching.

We all have things that drive us mad in horror movies (Oh your brand new car magically won't start?) but what about someone who writes horror? What type of things do the creators of our favorite movies cringe at seeing on screen?

In the late '80s/early '90s, how many of you were glued to books by people like Christopher Pike, R.L. Stine and A. Bates? Long before 'Twilight,' these young adult authors were churning out sordid tales of psycho teenage killers, body-switching beautiful girls and revenge fantasies that also somehow involved final exams.

There’s no better theatrical experience than a really frightening horror movie. The looming feeling that something terrifying might be lurking around every corner makes you to sit on the edge of your seat in spine-tingling anticipation...

It's October and you know what that means: hot cider, pumpkin beer, candy corn and of course, Halloween. In the spirit of the holiday here are some creepy and intriguing horror movies perfect for the Halloween season.
