The fraudulent Facebook forwards continue for the Cowboy State. This one is at least based on some truth however. A forwarded message asking for prayer for a little boy name Dakota is going viral.
Some people will believe anything. Others are just trying to play it safe. Regardless of which of the two groups you fall under, forwarding a Facebook Messenger message to save yourself from paying "dues" is a complete waste of your time.
In the last few days, a Facebook Messenger forward stating a virus is circulating disguised as a video called the 'Dance of the Pope' has started making rounds.
Residents in Columbus, Ohio, are confused by flyers that are going up in a local park for a festival that has to be a hoax.
The flyer is promoting a Straight White Guy Festival, which apparently is coming to the park in September, WBNS-10TV reports.
