Governor Gordon has announced that Drew Perkins will replace Buck McVeigh as the Governor's Chief of Staff, following McVeigh's retirement.

Following the resignation of Ed Buchanan as Wyoming's Secretary of State, it was unclear who would serve as the interim Secretary, until the newly-elected Secretary of State is sworn in next January.

The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, prompting the “trigger ban” bill signed into law earlier this year to ban abortion in Wyoming in five days. The law bans abortions except in cases of rape or incest or to protect the mother’s life or health, not including psychological conditions.
