Down recently visited Loudwire's offices when they were on tour in New York City. The entire group swarmed on our little studio room to talk about their four-part series of 'Down IV' EPs, all the while anointing themselves the most handsome band in the history of handsome while knocking back a few beers.

Down and former bassist Rex Brown reunited onstage Tuesday night (Sept. 18) for the first time since the musician exited the band last year. The veteran rocker and longtime cohort of Down singer Phil Anselmo dating back to the Pantera years, came out to perform during the encore songs of ‘Stone the Crow’ and ‘Bury Me in Smoke’ during the group’s set in Dallas. The long-awaited beginning of Down‘s upcoming four-part series of EPs has finally been given a name and a release date. The six-track EP, which will be called ‘EP One,’ is set for a Sept. 18 release.
