Being on the Soundgarden e-mail list, I receive updates occasionally. Here's the one I received today: The Soundgarden summer tour starts Saturday. It's not too late to pickup tickets. Throughout the tour Soundgarden will be joined by very special guests Coheed and Cambria, The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, and Meat Puppets.

Rock 96.7  VIP's got to meet the members of one of rock's hottest bands, Three Days Grace. Fans were given the opportunity to get autographs and pose for pictures with TDG. Ah, the benefits of being a freeloader...

The first-ever Uranium Tour featuring headliners Black Label Society, All That Remains and Hail the Villain will kick off May 4 in San Diego. In June, Rev Theory will replace All That Remains.

Glam giants Motley Crue and Poison ARE teaming up for a blockbuster summer tour despite comments last year from the Crue camp scoffing at the suggestion when the idea was floated last year.

The Big Four’s slate of 2011 shows is expanding. The thrash giants appear to have more shows planned this year, in addition to the three they’ve already set.

Avenged Sevenfold will hit the road this spring for the "Welcome to the Family" Tour, which kicks off on April 22nd and continues through May 21st. The tour will feature special guests Three Days Grace on each stop of the tour. Also appearing will be Sevendust from April 22nd through May 1st and Bullet For My Valentine from May 3rd through May 20th.
