While a light, but wet snow cascaded down around the city, the lighting of the David Street Station Community Christmas Tree ushered in the annual Downtown Casper Christmas Parade.

After a day or two of rest after months of preparation and the big night on Saturday, the Casper Chamber of Commerce has announced a variety of winners for their float contest from the Downtown Casper Christmas Parade.

Casper has a new location for fun for all ages. Located inside the Sunrise Shopping Center, at the former Sunrise Lanes location, Boomtown Blast is now open.

There are currently rumors floating around social media that the Downtown Casper Christmas Parade (sponsored by the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce) is changing its name to the 'Lights of December Parade.'

The Foundation, which raises funds for pediatric cancer research, is named for the founder's daughter who lost her battle with brain cancer at only 20 months old.

A broad coalition of business and labor groups and health care providers, especially hospitals including the Wyoming Medical Center, supported Medicaid expansion.

This Thursday - August 28th - The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce will host "Business After Hours", and the Chamber Ambassadors will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new building.
