If you found yourself traveling in the general direction of Tennessee Thursday morning, you likely noticed swarms of painted cars converging upon the south of the state.
The Bonnaroo Festival is back for 2014, providing a little something for everyone. And for those who like their rock on the harder side, there will be a few acts providing it for you.
Jack White, Kanye West and Elton John top the wide-ranging group of artists scheduled to play 2014's edition of the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. This year's fest will take place in Manchester, Tenn., over the weekend of June 12-15.
It seemed to end just as quickly as it began, but that's just the whirlwind nature of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and its seemingly endless schedule of talent. As tents were deconstructed and glow-in-the-dark paint washed off, fest goers were treated to one last musical frolic under the oppressive Tennessee sun. Here's how Bonnaroo capped off its 2013 iteration.
Although Bonnaroo is still more than a month away, it’s never too early to start planning, and now you can do just that. The four-day schedule has just been revealed, giving festival-goers plenty of time to map out which acts they’ll catch – and which they’ll be forced to miss out on.
Back in February, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival organizers announced this year’s initial lineup via a special hour-long webcast. Now, even more acts have joined the impressive bill, including Empire of the Sun, White Lung, Solange, Polyphonic Spree, Black Prairie, ALO, Delta Rae, Bustle in Your Hedgerow and the Rubens.
Mumford and Sons, Paul McCartney, Bjork, Wilco and Tom Petty are among the headliners confirmed for the 2013 edition of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, which will take place June 13-16 in Manchester, Tenn. The lineup was announced today (Feb. 19) during a special hour-long live webcast called B.L.A.M. (Bonnaroo Line-up Announcement Mega-thon) hosted by none other than “Weird Al” Yankovic.

Mark your calendars, Bonnaroo fans. The Tennessee festival will announce its 2013 lineup via the Bonnaroo Live Announcement Megathon, aka B.L.A.M., on Feb. 19 at 1PM ET. But this is no ordinary festival lineup reveal. It's bigger than that. Way bigger.
The Bonnaroo 2013 lineup still hasn't been announced, but we now know that when this year's acts are revealed, none other than parody artist and accordionist "Weird Al" Yankovic will do the honors. "I just wanted you to know that I'll be announcing this year's Bonnaroo lineup live on YouTube," "Weird Al" reveals in a new video that surfaced on YouTube today (Jan. 31).
