Super Mario Bros. ‘Seinfeld’ Parody Is the Most Genius Thing You’ll See Today
If you've been longing for a 'Seinfeld' parody with characters from Super Mario Bros., then hold onto your overalls because today's your lucky day.
In the video, Mario and Luigi get into a conversation about saving the princess -- a la Jerry and Kramer -- in an animated version of Jerry's apartment. They play up the classic "I don't want to be a pirate!" and "They write it off" bits popularized on the sitcom, although there are others found here, as well.
Toad gets the George treatment, while Elaine is nowhere to be seen -- we can only imagine she'd be Princess Toadstool.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Bowser is revealed to be the villain, a video game Newman, if you will.
The laugh track isn't the best, but the spirit of the idea certainly makes up for it.
Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to work on our River Raid-'Home Improvement' parody.
