At 2:44 pm mdt...Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Goldeneye Reservoir...which is 21 miles west of Casper...moving Northeast at 25 mph.

Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

This strong thunderstorm will be near... Goldeneye Reservoir around 300 pm mdt.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Poison Spider School...Casper Natrona county Airport.

This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 197 and 209.

At 1228 pm mdt...Doppler radar was tracking some strong thunderstorms over eastern Natrona County...generally moving northeast at 40 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.  Brief heavy rain is also likely and could cause minor flooding.

This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 176 and 234.

SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EASTERN NATRONA COUNTY UNTIL 1230 PM MDT...

At 11:48 AM MDT...Doppler radar was tracking some strong thunderstorms across eastern Natrona County...with all of them generally moving northeast at 40 mph.

One quarter to one half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.  Brief heavy rain is also expected.

This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 176 and 234.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very heavy rainfall is can also occur with these storms...and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
